An attractive smile is a wonderful asset which will contribute to improved self-esteem and self-confidence.

Orthodontic treatment gently guides your teeth into their correct position which means you can straighten uneven, misaligned, crooked and prominent teeth and achieve the smile you have always dreamed of. At Castleknock Orthodontics, we provide a range of braces that are virtually invisible so that you are the only person who knows that you are having orthodontic treatment.

The benefits of orthodontic treatment include:

  • The beautiful teeth and smile that you always wanted and will have for the rest of your life.
  • Straight teeth and healthy gums that are easier to clean and more likely to last your lifetime.
  • Healthy jaw joints which can help to reduce headaches, migraines, jaw and neck pain.

What is an Orthodontist?

  • Orthodontists have a general dental degree just like your family dentist.
  • An Orthodontist has an additional THREE YEARS of UNIQUE SPECIALIST training which makes them EXPERTS at straightening teeth and improving facial appearance.

Having braces with an Orthodontist gives you:

  • The beautiful teeth and amazing straight smile you have always wanted and is designed to last you for the rest of your life.
  • A straight smile that is skillfully designed to protect the long-term health of your teeth, gums and jaw joint.

The Invisalign System

The Invisalign System is designed to reveal the smile that you’ve always wanted. It’s why millions of people have now transformed their lives with our removable, near-invisible aligners.

More precision, less pain

Aligners made from transparent plastic that is more comfortable, trimmed to your exact gum line to fit better, and are easy to put in and take out. They’re also less painful than braces

Made to move your life, not disrupt it

Because the aligners are removable, you can easily take them in and out to continue enjoying the food you love without any restrictions. For those who participate in contact sports, Invisalign clear aligners can be removed before you play.

Whats involved?

  • The Consultation

Dr Perry will take photos, X-rays and digital scans, or a dental impression, of your teeth. These records will be used to create a 3D treatment plan, just for you.

  • The Aligners

You’ll receive a series of aligners to wear every day and change at home – on average every 1-2 weeks.

  • The Results

You’ll visit our clinic around every 6-8 weeks, so we can monitor your progress and receive new aligners. After finishing your treatment, retainers will be required to maintain your new smile.

Broken or Missing Teeth

Would you like to know the best way to replace a broken/missing tooth or teeth?

A dental implant is a type of artificial tooth root that is placed in your jawbone, using it as a type of ‘stake’ onto which a replacement tooth or bridge is fixed.Dental implants are often recommended by your dental specialist if you enjoy a generally good standard of dental health but might have lost one or more of your teeth due to an accident or, as a result of severe periodontal disease.

Zygoma Implants

Have you been told you are not a suitable candidate for dental implants?

If you’ve answered yes to these, then you may be a candidate for Zygoma implants.  These implants are used in the upper jaw when there is an insufficient bone for ordinary implants. They provide support for implant bridgework where there has been a substantial amount of bone loss from the upper jaw, and ordinary implants cannot be used on their own to support a bridge.

This is a very specialist procedure and here at Castleknock Orthodontics, Dr Wilson Grigolli is one of the few clinicians in Ireland with the expertise to use this procedure.

At Castleknock Orthodontics, we use only the best materials when we are creating your perfect smile. Click Here to view a quick explanatory video from our esteemed suppliers Nobel Biocare.

Advantages of Dental Implants

One of the big advantages that implants have over traditional bridgework is that they do not rely on their neighbouring teeth to support them, so if your worried about not having enough teeth to allow for them then fear not!

From a cosmetic perspective, there’s the added benefit that your implants look and feel completely natural, so you’ll have the confidence to flash that big bright smile!

Dental implants can restore confidence in your smile!
